Sony Xperia ZR with 4.6 inch HD screen, 2 GB RAM and 1.5 GHz quad core processor available for Rs.29,990 in India

Sony Xperia ZR is now available for pre-orders in India. The phone was spotted on Flipkart.com at a price of Rs.29,990. The expected release date of the phone is 3^rd week of June.

Sony Xperia ZR sports a 4.6 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. The screen is dust-proof and scratch resistant. The phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly bean) and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad core processor. There is 2GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking.

The internal storage of Xperia ZR is 8 GB that can be increased further upto 32 GB with an external microSD card. The phone features a 13 MP primary camera capable of recording Full HD videos (1920 X 1280 pixels). There is also a VGA front camera for video calling. The camera includes features like Face detection, Burst mode, Geo-tagging, Red-eye reduction and scene recognition.

Xperia ZR includes connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, DLNA, A-GPS and GLONASS. The phone has a 2300 mAh battery that provides 11 hours of talktime and 470 hours of standby time on 2G network; and 13 hours of talktime and 520 hours of standby time on 3G network.
