Samsung has announced its much
awaited phone, Galaxy S4 Active. The phone is dust resistant and water resistant
with IP67 certification. It can survive in 1m deep water for upto 30 minutes.
The phone sports a 5 inch Full HD
(1920 X 1080 pixels resolution) LCD screen with a pixel density of 443 ppi. The
phone is powered by a 1.9 GHz quad core processor along with 2 GB of RAM. The combination
makes it suitable for excessive multimedia and multi-tasking. The phone runs on
latest version of Android, i.e. Android 4.2.2 (Jelly bean).
Samsung Galaxy S4 Active features
an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash, auto focus, image stabilization, face
detection, touch focus and cinema photo. There is a 2 MP front camera for video
chat. The camera is capable of recording Full HD (1080p) videos at 30 fps.
The internal memory of the phone
is 16 GB out of which only 11.25 GB is available to user. The memory can be
increased further upto 64 GB with a microSD card. The connectivity options include
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and A-GPS. The phone includes a 2600 mAh battery.
