Acer Liquid S1 phablet with 5.7 inch HD screen and 1.5 GHz quad core processor announced at Computex 2013


 
After the launch of big screen Galaxy Mega series by Samsung, Here comes another player in the game. At the ongoing Computex, Acer has announced Liquid S1 phablet having a 5.7 inch screen. The phone will be available for purchase in Q3 2013 at a price of 349 euros.

Acer Liquid S1 sports a 5.7 inch HD display (1280 X 720 pixels). The phone runs on latest Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) and is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek quad sore processor. The phone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The memory can be extended further upto 32 GB with a microSD card.

The phone has an 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash. The coolest feature in the phone is Acer Float that allows users to do multitasking without backing out from one application. There is a 2400 mAh battery. The phone has dual sim option but the major drawback is that it only supports 3G network and no 4G LTE. So, the countries having high speed 4G network may find this phone as outdated.
