Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom : A smartphone with 16 MP Camera and 10x optical zoom




Samsung has officially announced its camera focused smartphone Galaxy S4 Zoom. This is the first camera focused smartphone from the company and it comes with 16 MP sensor and 10x optical zoom. Such features are hard to believe to come in a smartphone.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom sports a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display (540 X 960 pixels resolution). With the dimensions of 125.5 X 63.5 X 15.4 mm, the phone appears to be bulkier than the other smartphones. The phone basically targets the special niche of people who love photography and want their phone to be more of a camera.

The phone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. The phone comes with 8 GB of internal storage along with 1.5 GB of RAM. The memory can be extended further upto 64 GB with an external microSD card.

Coming towards the camera which is the main feature of the phone, the phone features a 16 MP rear shooter with Xenon flash and 10x optical zoom. There is also a 1.9 MP front camera for video chatting. The camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps and 720p videos at 60 fps.

The phone has connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE. The phone comes with a 2300 mAh battery sufficient to run for a whole day use.
