Samsung officially announced
Galaxy Ace 3, a mid-range smartphone running on Android 4.2. The price of the
phone has not been disclosed yet, but it may be available for around Rs.12,000.
The phone will be available in 3G and LTE versions.
The phone sports a 4 inch WVGA LCD
display with a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels. Running on Android 4.2 (Jelly
bean), the device is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor for 3G version and
1.2 GHz dual core processor for LTE version. There is 1 GB of Ram in the phone.
The internal memory of the 3G version is 4 GB and for LTE version is 8 GB which
can be extended further upto 64 GB with a microSD card.
The phone features a 5 MP rear
camera with auto focus and LED flash. There is also a 0.3 MP front camera for
video chatting. The phone has 1500 mAh decent battery. It will be available
with pre-loaded apps like Samsung ChatOn, Samsung Hub, Smart Say, S Translator,
S Voice and Easy Mode.
