Acer announced Iconia W3, world's first 8.1 inch windows 8 tablet


 
 
Acer has officially announced Iconia W3 which is the world’s first 8.1 inch Windows 8 tablet. The announcement has been made at ongoing Computex 2013. The tablet will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. The 32 GB version is priced at 329 euros while the 64 GB version’s price is 379 euros.

Acer Iconia W3 sports a 8.1 inch LED display with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. The display is not very impressive as the pixel density is merely 186 ppi. The device runs smoothly as it is powered by Intel’s Atom processor.

The device is not good from shooting point of view as it has both 2 MP primary and front cameras. The tablet can be attached to a Bluetooth keyboard that supports it while providing you a whole laptop experience. The battery life is quoted as 8 hours.
