Sony Xperia ZR launched in India


Sony has launched the new Xperia ZR in Indian market. This is the most water-resistant phone from Sony and is IP55 and IP58 compliant. This means it can be kept submerged under 1.5 m of water for almost 30 minutes. The phone is capable of recording full HD (1080p) videos even under the water.

Xperia ZR sports a 4.6 inch HD reality display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2. The screen has resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. Powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, the phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly bean). The phone has 8 GB of internal storage along with 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory can be increased further upto 32 GB with the help of an external memory card.

 
 
Xperia ZR features a 13 MP primary camera with auto-focus and 16-x digital zoom and a front facing VGA camera. The camera features “Exmor RS for mobile” image sensor with HDR (High dynamic range). Also, if you want to capture fast moving actions, you can turn on the burst mode to shoot unlimited images at 15 fps(frames per second).
