Samsung Galaxy S4 features and Price in India

Samsung has launched its most anticipated phone, Galaxy S4 in India. The phone has been launched at an introductory price of Rs.41,500. Right now, there will be 16 GB version available in the markets in India. There are no updates from Samsung on launching 32 GB and 64 GB versions in India.

Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 5 inch Super AMOLED full HD screen with a resolution of 1080 X 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 441 pi. The phone is powered by Exynos 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. As the name reflects, the processor has 8 cores. But, only 4 cores will be active during normal use. The other 4 cores are energy saving cores and will become active when you are running heavy processes that include activities like playing heavy games, watching videos and multi-tasking. This 8-core design is made to save the battery and to deliver the power only when it is needed.

Galaxy S4 runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly bean) that is customized with touch wiz interface. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory that can be extended upto 64 GB with the help of an external memory card.

Galaxy S4 sports a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP front camera. Camera includes features like dual shot, cinema photo, eraser shot mode to remove other people from the picture, and many other cool features. Users can use both the cameras simultaneously to capture images as well as recoring videos.

There is another cool feature called  “Smart pause”. Using this feature, user can pause a video just by looking away from it. Also, you can use “air-view” that allows phone to capture user gestures in the air. Just hover your fingers above the phone and it will detect the gestures.
