Samsung has officially announced its much awaited phone, the Galaxy Round. This is the world’s first curved screen smartphone. The phone has officially announced in South Korea and its availability in international market is still not disclosed. The price of the phone is around $1000.

Samsung Galaxy Round features a 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED curved display. The device operates on Android 4.3 (Jelly bean) that is customized by Samsung’s latest TouchWiz UI. The phone is powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. There is 3 GB of RAM in the phone that is not a common thing in smartphones.

The phone sports a 13 MP rear shooter with auto focus and Flash. There is also a 2 MP front camera for video calling. The camera is capable of shooting Full HD (1080p) videos. The internal memory of the phone is 32 GB. The memory can be extended further up to 64 GB via a micro SD card. The phone comes with a 2800 mAh battery.
