Intex has launched the Aqua Octa smartphone in Indian market. The phone is a dual sim smartphone and is available for purchase on the e-commerce website Snapdeal at a price of Rs.19,999.

Intex Aqua Octa sports a 6 inch OGS (One Glass Solution) HD (1280 X 720 pixels resolution) IPS display. The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor which is the USP of this phone. It operates on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean).

Aqua Octa features a 13 MP primary camera with with auto-focus and LED flash. The camera is capable of recording Full HD videos. For video calling, the phone has a 5 MP front camera.

The internal memory of the phone is 16 GB that can be extended further up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. For effective multi-tasking, the phone has 2 GB of RAM. The phone has various connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB. The phone comes with a 2300 mAh battery.

XOLO Q700i sports a 4.5 inch qHD (540 X 960 pixels) IPS display with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology. The phone is a Dual-SIM smartphone with 3G support. The phone is powered by a  1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 quad core processor. It operates on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) which is not the latest version.

The Chinese smartphones manufacturer Gionee has launched its new smartphone, the Gionee Elife E6. The phone is another feature loaded smartphone from Gionee.

Gionee Elife E6 features a 5 inch OGS (One Glass Solution) AMOLED display with Full HD resolution (1920 X 1080 pixels). The phone has a pixel density of 441 pi which is extremely good.

The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) with Amigo UI layer. The phone has 2 GB of RAM for effective multi-tasking. The internal memory of the phone is 32 GB.
