Asus FonePad Note FHD6 with 6 inch IPS+ screen and 2GB RAM is launched at Computex 2013

 

Asus has announced FonePad Note FHD6 phablet at Computex 2013 which is a first phablet from Asus. Just like the Galaxy Note, FonePad Note does come with a stylus. The phablet features a 6 inch 1080p Super IPS+ display. Running on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean), the device is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor.

The device comes in two variants, 16 GB and 32 GB. The RAM is 2GB that makes it suitable for multi-tasking. There is an 8 MP rear shooter with auto focus and a 1.2 MP front camera for video chatting. There is a 3200 mAh battery included in the phone.

Acer Liquid S1 phablet with 5.7 inch HD screen and 1.5 GHz quad core processor announced at Computex 2013

 

After the launch of big screen Galaxy Mega series by Samsung, Here comes another player in the game. At the ongoing Computex, Acer has announced Liquid S1 phablet having a 5.7 inch screen. The phone will be available for purchase in Q3 2013 at a price of 349 euros.

Acer Liquid S1 sports a 5.7 inch HD display (1280 X 720 pixels). The phone runs on latest Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) and is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek quad sore processor. The phone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The memory can be extended further upto 32 GB with a microSD card.

The phone has an 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash. The coolest feature in the phone is Acer Float that allows users to do multitasking without backing out from one application. There is a 2400 mAh battery. The phone has dual sim option but the major drawback is that it only supports 3G network and no 4G LTE. So, the countries having high speed 4G network may find this phone as outdated.

Acer announced Iconia W3, world's first 8.1 inch windows 8 tablet

 

 

Acer has officially announced Iconia W3 which is the world’s first 8.1 inch Windows 8 tablet. The announcement has been made at ongoing Computex 2013. The tablet will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. The 32 GB version is priced at 329 euros while the 64 GB version’s price is 379 euros.

Acer Iconia W3 sports a 8.1 inch LED display with a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. The display is not very impressive as the pixel density is merely 186 ppi. The device runs smoothly as it is powered by Intel’s Atom processor.

The device is not good from shooting point of view as it has both 2 MP primary and front cameras. The tablet can be attached to a Bluetooth keyboard that supports it while providing you a whole laptop experience. The battery life is quoted as 8 hours.

LG Nexus 4 full features and price in India

LG Nexus 4 is available for purchase on Indian e-commerce website like Flipkart.com. The phone is available for pre-orders at a price of Rs.25,990.

LG Nexus 4 sports a 4.7 inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus display with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. Powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the phone has 2 GB of RAM.  The combination makes it suitable for multi-tasking and processor eating tasks. The internal memory of the phone is 16 GB that is not at all expandable.

Lava has introduces another low budget tablet in India. This time it has launched E-Tab Xtron+ tablet which is a successor of E-Tab Xtron that was launched in February. The tablet is available for purchase on e-commerce websites in India at a price of Rs.6,990.

Lava E-Tab Xtron+ sports a 7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 X 600 pixels. The tablet operates on the latest version of Android (4.2.2 Jelly bean). Powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, the device has 1 GB of RAM for effective multi-tasking and smooth operations. The internal memory of the tablet is 8 GB that can be extended further with a 32 GB microSD card.
