BSNL has launched its first feature loaded phablet in collaboration with Champion Electronics. The device called the Trendy 531 will be available in Indian market at a price of Rs.13,999. It is a dual-sim phablet with free 500 MB 3G data per month for one year by BSNL.

Trendy 531 sports a 5.3 inch capacitive touch screen display with unknown resolution. Looking at the resolution of existing phones in the market in the same price range, it should have at least HD (1280 X 720 pixels) resolution. It operates on Android 4.2 (Jelly bean) which is obviously not the latest version.

The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory of the phone is 4 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB via a micro SD card. The phone has a 13 MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. There is also a 5 MP front camera for video calling.

The phone has connectivity options like 3G, EDGE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It comes with a 3200 mAh battery that’s back up and talk time has not yet been disclosed by the company.

Nokia has officially launched its Flagship smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 1020 in India. The phone is to be available in markets starting from 11^th of October, 2013. The pricing of the phone has not been disclosed by Nokia. Final price of the phone will be declared just before its market launch, i.e. on 10^th of October, 2013.
