Asus has launched a feature loaded budget phone in Indian market, the Asus Zenfone 5. The phone is available for Rs.12,999 on Flipkart. No doubt, the phone has a lot of competitors in this price segment, but Asus can beat them with its feature loaded Zenfone 5.
The Asus Zenfone 5 sports a 5 inch 10 finger multi- touch HD
IPS diplay that supports Glove touch too. The screen is protected by Corning
Gorilla Glass 3 that makes it resistent to scratches and minor shocks.
The phone is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom
Multi-CoreZ2580/2560 Dual core Processor with Hyper Threading Technology. For multi-tasking, the phone has massive 2 GB of RAM. The
phone operates on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that can be upgraded to latest 4.4
KitKat version.
The phone features an 8 MP primary camera with auto focus
and LED flash. There is a 2 MP front camera for video calling. The camera can
record Full HD (1080p) videos at 30 fps and HD (720p) videos at 60 fps. The
internal memory of the phone is 16GB that can be extended further upto 64 GB
